Mission:
As an International Operations Coordinator at Tramex, you will play a key role as a conductor between our international clients and our supplier in China. You will be responsible for administrative and operational management, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Commercial Role:
- Manage phone and email communications with clients.
- Process and follow up on client orders.
- Prepare and send price quotes.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive, lasting client relationships.
Production Role:
- Liaise directly with the factory to plan and monitor production.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Resolve production issues in collaboration with various departments.
Logistics Role:
- Organize container shipments for product export.
- Coordinate international shipments, adhering to customs and logistics procedures.
- Draft and verify transport documents.
- Optimize container filling.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to clients.
International Environment:
- Work in an international context with clients worldwide.
- Collaborate with purchasing teams located in China, merchandisers, and supply chain coordinators.
- Email Communication: Due to the significant time difference between China and Belgium, all communications are conducted via email.
Profile Sought:
- Education: Degree in International Trade, Transport and Logistics, or Logistics.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in a back office, administrative, or commercial role.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and management software.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
